Documents required for a home care nurse job

Mandatory documents

Carry your State Nursing Council registration certificate, your qualification certificates (GNM or B.Sc Nursing), your degree or diploma marksheets, Aadhaar card, PAN card and four passport-size photographs. The council registration is non-negotiable for nurse roles — verification cannot proceed without it.

Experience documents

Bring experience letters or relieving letters from every hospital, nursing home or agency you have worked with, along with your last three months' salary slips if you have them. If a previous employer has not issued a relieving letter, an appointment letter plus an ID card from that period usually works — tell us in advance so it can be flagged before your interview.

If your registration is under renewal

A registration that is expired or under renewal is not an automatic rejection. Carry the renewal acknowledgement or application receipt from the council. Many candidates are processed conditionally while renewal completes, but you must disclose it upfront rather than at the joining stage.

For nursing attendant and care taker roles

Council registration is not required. Carry your 10th pass marksheet, Aadhaar card, PAN card, photographs, any experience letters from hospitals, old-age homes or private duty work, and a GDA or patient-care course certificate if you happen to have one.
